Wentworth has earned a reputation as one of Australia’s leading quality furniture manufacturers supplying National retail groups for more than 30 years. 

Resulting from a comprehensive corporate review Wentworth believed that they had discovered a need in the Aged Care market for genuine home-style furniture.  For this concept to be successful the furniture would need to be not only aesthetically pleasing but also comfortable, strong and serviceable at prices acceptable to clients with widely varying budgets.  As they say in the classics “the rest is history”. 

Wentworth’s concept of unique home-style furniture was quickly embraced by the industry.  As a result Wentworth is very proud to have been involved in prestigious developments throughout Australia.  Equally rewarding has been the Company’s involvement in more modest developments and refurbishments working with key client Staff to achieve great outcomes whilst working within significant budgetary restraints. 

With innovation as one of the key drivers within the Company, Wentworth saw a need for a super low safety bed, which unlike anything on the market at the time had fully concealed mechanisms.  This would allow the fitting of full timber frames to match their standard high low beds, thus providing a true home-style super low safety bed.  Key Staff set about with a passion to design and develop such a product and within a short while a prototype was completed.  Soon after production models were being produced – but not before Patents had been granted for Australian and overseas markets. 

The Wentworth Team are very proud that news of this unique Australian product has reached distant shores with enquiries from USA Europe & Japan.  The Team headed by Rex & Lyn are also proud that their mission to provide furniture offering dignity, style & comfort for residents and true value and reliable service to facility operators is being achieved.

	Solid Timber Tables are available in clear lacquer, as pictured, or in a wide range of stains. For Commercial use, we recommend the highly resilient two pack lacquer.
	Wentworth offers a wide range of chairs to suit dining, bedrooms and lounges.
	In line with our Commitment to the environment, our solid timber is sourced from forests where Regional Forest Agreements ensure that the timber is harvested in accordance with the ecologically sustainable management principles set by the State and Federal Governments of Australia.
	Natural Feature Hardwood is hand selected at the mill to ensure a consistent mix of characteristics, and is often processed to individual specifications. It is accurately kiln dried and machined for individual use without sacrificing quality.
